HINTS:

  • When reading in a lying down position rest your elbow on the bed. With the handle in the palm of your hand balance your book using your fingers lightly on the handle. This makes holding it in the perfect position and at the right distance effortless
  • Hold the book and wing gently on the corner with the handle projecting out the bottom of your hand.  There will be no pressure on your hand at all to keep the book open
  • Turn the pages by sliding them from behind the page holder with your thumb. You can also lift them out by the top corner. Then slide them behind the opposite page holder with your thumb or by holding the bottom corner and pulling down and under
  • The page holder should just hold the pages lightly for easy turning
  • Lock the page holders in position when reading in bed with the locking ring. The head pole should also be locked in position for your book to be firmly held in the Bookbutterfly
  • You also do not even have to hold your book if you prop it on a pillow when lying down. The handle becomes a handy wedge to get the right bangle
  • When moving your book around hold the book together with the wing
  • Your book should not be left open in the Bookbutterfly for too long
  • Please look at the instruction manual in the packaging and on this site for more detail in pictures
